Despite being the ideal size, 1/64th scale model railroading is very much a minority scale. The Bristol Club has members with expertise in most aspects of S scale. If you are interested in gaining or sharing skills in layout design and construction, scenery, rolling stock maintenance, repair and restoration, operations, DCC, collecting, or any other of the many facets of S scale, you will find members here with similar interests.

We bring our modular layout to several shows each year to display and demonstrate S scale railroading to the public, and especially to the next generation of modelers.

Many members have S scale layouts of various styles. Meetings generally run from noon until 3:30 or 4:00pm, with most of the time spent admiring, discussing, learning from, and playing with the host's layout. Sharing the hobby with other enthusiasts is the best part of being in a local club.
